Blix is a visual storytelling application designed to help you transform a single photo into a polished three-card social post. Through our app, you can import your favorite images, choose storytelling angles (theme, detail, or feeling), shape each card with editable text and suggested phrasing, apply artistic filters, and save your finished creations to your device.

You can also revisit recent work, browse your saved card sets in your personal gallery, and review each finished creation in detail. Our bold neon-inspired design and focused creation flow make building shareable visual posts from a single image simple and enjoyable.

This Privacy Policy is here to help you understand how information is handled when you use Blix. We believe in transparency, and we're committed to being clear about our practices.

Information Collection & Use

Your Content

When you import photos and create visual stories with Blix, these images and creations are stored locally on your device. We do not access, collect, or store your original photos or finished card sets on our servers.

Device Information

We may collect basic non-personal device information automatically to improve app performance, such as your device type, operating system version, and app usage statistics. This data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify you personally.

Local Storage

Blix stores your recent work and saved card sets in your device's local storage and photo gallery. This data stays entirely on your device and is never transmitted to us unless you explicitly choose to send it to us for support.

In-App Purchases

If you make any in-app purchases, all payment processing is handled by your device's app store platform. We do not collect or store your payment card details.

Service Providers: We may work with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate, maintain, and improve Blix. These providers are bound by privacy obligations and may only process your information as instructed by us.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation or protect the rights, property, or safety of Blix, our users, or the public.

Data Retention

We retain the anonymized usage data we collect for as long as it is needed for the purposes for which it was collected. Any non-personal diagnostic data we may collect is retained for a reasonable period to allow us to improve the app.

Your personal content (original photos, edited card sets, saved drafts) remains stored on your device until you delete them through the Blix app or through your device's operating system. Since we don't store this content on our servers, we cannot delete it for you, but you can remove it at any time yourself.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect any information we hold from loss, unauthorized access, misuse, and disclosure. However, please understand that no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights & Choices

You retain full rights over your content created in Blix. You have the right to:

Access: Request a copy of the information we hold about you. Since most data is stored locally on your device, you already have direct access to your content.

Correction: Request that we correct any inaccurate information we hold about you.

Deletion: Request that we delete any personal information we have about you. You can also delete all your content directly from your device at any time.

Children's Privacy

Blix is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete that information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
